An Encounter with Truth (#70)

Someday upon a truthful time
Three dreamy nights ago
I saw a very funny man
Shambling down a road.
His jacket hung on one side long
And on the other short
His baggy trousers were too tight
A mighty poor report.
As he came stumbling down the lane
One hand he held up high
I realized with quite a start
A talk with him was nigh.
Evade him I could never do
As he came close to me
For even dreaming though I be
My own face I did see.
