I Dream a Dream (#125)

I dream a dream a thousand nights
And never does it change
I reach out and touch each soul
There is no limit to my range.
I say ~ You must come back
Stand beside our God
The very world is shaken
Don’t you think it odd?
I dream a dream a thousand nights
I promised I would go
Into this world of illusion
Begging repentance from each soul.
They slip through my fingers
They joke, they mock, they spit
They dance round me laughingly
As they slide into the pit.
I dream a dream a thousand nights
Healing flows, surrounds me
Some come to me, some stay with me
Sharing the vision that I see.
The beautiful tomorrow
The valley green with peace
Happiness abounds there
Where love will never cease.
Beautifully written.

Thank you for the invitation. Unfortunately, the author of this poem passed away in 2001. I’m not sure I want to post her poetry anywhere but here for right now.
