The Windows of My Soul: Quicksilver on the Wind (#163)

You make my life a radiant joy
You taught my heart to sing.
To free myself inside of me
And laugh the sunlight in.

You taught me what the flowers mean
And wonderful tall trees.
You swept my soul to heights unknown
To tumble in the breeze.

You taught me how to ride the wind
To places not yet known.
You taught me how to count the stars
And dance the moonbeams home.

You taught me how to love again.
You whisper through my dreams.
I lift my eyes to eyes of love.
Quicksilver on the wind.

This was definitely one of Brenda’s favorite poems, and she could recite it from memory.
