Christmas Eve (#327)

While waiting for the snow to fall
The coming of the winter
We trim the tree, wrap the gifts
And plan our Christmas dinner.

We greet our guests on Christmas Eve
With welcoming delight
And listen to the carolers
Singing in the frosty night.

When the presents have been passed
And dinner is long over
We listen to the Christmas songs
That tell us of the Manger.

We talk of all life means to us
The love that fills our home
And ask that on this Christmas Eve
Love fill the hearts of everyone.
